I Remember You (Hello Monster) [KDrama]

Comment:
After the drama, "High School king", I saw Seo In-Guk as Lee-Hyeon in this. Of all the Korean drama male leading character, this is the best in acting cool, composed and convincing. I respect the character and send out my heart-felt wishes to Seo-In-Guk for a bright future. I noticed him in, "Master's Sun", at first and "High School King" in next. Just two dramas, more or less same character so could not notice his acting skills. This drama, for the given story line and his character, no one can ever outperform him, I feel. He is so strong with a mesmerizing voice, smile and attitude that can take of control anyone as Lee Hyeon.

Talking about Park Bo-Gum as Atty Jong/Lee Min reminds me of, "Tomorrow's cantabile", where I noticed this cute face. Happened to see him again in the movie, "A hard day". Not too much of change in his expressions or acting but he is sure captivating with that cute looks of his.

Good looking Lee Joon Ho / Lee Joon Young, surprises with this role. Ah! Can there be a better word than amazing that fit to describe him.

The team of Cha Ji An, including the team leader, did their part exceedingly well, making one enjoy the drama thoroughly.

The final episode of this drama, with no great twists, though not meet expectations of all the viewers that wanted Lee Hyeon and Lee Min to be together, it deserves an applause for keeping the characters alive to keep an opening for a season 2, may be.

In conclusion, the story as such, with its strong characters, is good enough to entertain like enjoying a complete meal, full of taste, flavor and vigor. On top of that, the artists did their best to present it the same way, makes it win-win. I'm happy that they didn't make it sleazy anywhere to show the love between two. It's remarkable and satisfactory. One of the best dramas, that I would recommend, anyone, anytime.

My Beautiful Bride [KDrama]

Comment:
How come this melodrama is taking me by surprise every time I watch the episodes? A good story neatly packed with stars that has the power to get through you. Kim Moo-Yul as Kim Do Young is in complete control of his character. Never over done or undone or partially done. His love, well emoted at all circumstances. A very nice guy like this, that is rare to find in Korean drama." Well played", Kim Moo Yul sshi.

This is another drama where the female leads get equal importance or the story runs without leaving them behind, I shall say. The ladies adopted so well and one can say confidently that, if you leave them out, this drama won't stand. One drama where the tears flowing down their eyes will show their real power. Every woman in this drama, must feel proud that they made this best. Lee Si-Young, Ko Sung-Hee, Lee Seung-Yeon, Lee El, Shim Min to mention especially were perfect fit for their roles.

Jo Han-Chul and his stuttering accent, OMG! After "High School King", it's good to see him play more serious role in his own funny way without turning it into a bad joke. A responsible man towards the character he plays, I feel. Excellent work!

It will be a pity if I don't talk about Ryu Seung-Soo as Seo Jin Ki. Saw him in the drama "General Hospital". The same cold, brutal personality reflected here. The performance by him is truly impressive. His looks and the way he carried it to shape up the role is truly laudable.

Even the underlings are doing their part fine. Incredible!

To sum up, one can never take their eyes of these lovely artists and the characters they portrayed. The action drama with lovely craftsmanship!

Show stealer:
Kim Moo-Yul, I believe did steal the show not just with his physique but truly with his diligent performance.

Conclusion:
Exceptionally beautiful!

Rating:
5 out of 5 stars [Beauty quotient, intact!]

Hide Identity [KDrama]

Comment:
Started to watch this drama for Kim Beom and Lee Won-Jong. A slow-paced drama with predictable twists except for the last antagonist. There is little action and more drama. So, not satisfied with the output considering every officer giving out a story to cry.  I feel, something was missing in him (Kim Beom), throughout the drama - A lost soul. Really wanted him to smile and be cheerful atleast in one episode. Even in the scenes, when he was with his fiancĂ©, he had a sad look in his face, allover.  He looked as if he is fallen sick. He is so sorry. Hope he finds energetic, smart and charismatic roles in future. He was not at his best in the last couple of episodes, especially in the emotional (crying) scenes.

This drama raised a lot of questions in me as,
  1. Why almost every hallyu male lead wants to perform dark roles or shady males.
  2. Are there no happy males in SK at all that spread their happiness around them Or, are they extremely happy and polite that they want to play the opposite (out of boredom) in the screen? Mostly the male lead is cool and arrogant or aggressive and violent.
  3. Where are those kind, happy, cheerful guys?
For the sake of giving importance to the special team, each one except Duk Hu had a sad story to share. This is my first time watching a Melooooo action drama. It's not bad but it's not good either. It's neither too impressive for melodrama nor aggressive to fit the action genre. However, the choice of artists and their performance made it watchable.

Let me mention here that the BGM was good and pleasing.

Kudos to the team for staying on track and not making the drama sleazy with kissing or bed scenes.

Lee Won Jong. If not for him, I think I would have discontinued watching this drama already.

School 2015 : Who Are You [KDrama]

Comment:
Though the drama based on schools all follow the same template, by projecting the bullying and its consequences explicitly, the friendship, good homeroom teachers, bad management etc., this drama really stood out in the way it gelled in one's heart. It welled up my eyes quite a number of times throughout the drama without forcing me to get emotional. Is it the magic of their performance or the magic of the story itself is still surprising to me. In all, there is not one character that underplayed or spoiled their character. They fitted themselves picture perfect. My sincere 'KUDOS' to the entire team.

Show Stealer:
The entire crew.

Conclusion:
School - Wonderful.

Rating:
4 out of 5 stars [Though there were no suspense/intriguing factors, it's still worth watching]

The Producer [KDrama]

Comment:
Despite a team of great actors whom I like, this drama failed to strike a chord even after two episodes.

Nothing to rate.

Masked Prosecutor [KDrama]

Comment:
Having waited to watch Joo Sang Wook after 'special TEN' and 'Good Doctor' drama I was pretty disappointed with his role and performance as a Masked Prosecutor. 'What a crap?' is the only question that kept lingering throughout the two to three  episodes that I brought myself up to watch. There is nothing good or interesting to keep one hooked in this drama or even worth a mention. 'Igoun Aanindhe' is what I can feel and say. Better luck! Next time, Joo Sang Wook.

Masked Prosecutor - Ugly

Sorry. Out of Rating Framework as it doesn't include negative scores.
